Deborah is one of the creators of the international hit Mom’s the

She has written for stage, street, print, radio and
her TV credits include writing comedic monologues on the Life
Network’s Family and Friends, and CBC’s Spilled Milk. |
|
She is a graduate of the acclaimed Studio 58 acting
program in Vancouver, and has worked on stages across the country
for the past 20 years. |

Yvan Morissette – SET
DESIGN
Yvan has been involved in theatre for over 15 years. |
|
From being a professional juggler in
Europe and acting in touring productions across Canada, to stage
managing the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and now mostly set
designing. Yvan likes to have variety in his life. |
|
He's more than happy to be back with
Axis Theatre, where he previously designed The Field, and stage
managed, on tour, their successful production of Robinson Crusoe. |

Theatre Company is thrilled by audience and presenter response to its new
play for young audiences Broccoli and Butterflies by award winning
playwright Deborah Williams. With over 300 performances in its first
season and a half, Broccoli and Butterflies appears destined to be a
children's classicJoin three caterpillars on their thrilling journey from birth to
maturity. Can they reach the Green Mountain of Broccoli and fulfill their
mother’s last wish that they carry on their family traditions? Will they
ever grow up and get their wings?
Two years in development, Broccoli and Butterflies is one of the
most spectacular shows ever presented by Axis Theatre. The play looks at
the cycle
of life through the adventures of three caterpillars as they travel from
birth to maturity. The lesson lies in its parallel to our own life
journeys.
 A fast paced blend of movement,
music and text, Broccoli and Butterflies showcases the adventures
that are going on around us all the time – if we look closely enough to
see them. The magical set, costumes and props follows in the tradition of Robinson
Crusoe, Trolldom: As If By Magic
and Hopes, Dream and Wishes.

Geoffrey Kelly – COMPOSER
Geoffrey is a musician, composer and songwriter with a Celtic heart
and is probably best know for his partnership with John Mann as the
international hit band Spirit of the West.

A masterful musician Geoffrey has
recorded with Murray McLaughlan, Mae Moore, Irish Rovers, Great Big
Sea, The Waltons, The Wonder Stuff and many others.
|
|
Geoffrey is currently touring and
recording with the popular Paperboys and has recently recorded his
first solo album Gringo Star.
