| Recently, my daughter and I took an unexpected
weekend trip to Ottawa to see Cirque de Soleil, and chanced upon the
Children's Festival that rainy Saturday afternoon. Fortunately for us,
we managed to get tickets to The Number 14. Since it was billed
as an "all ages" type of performance and the tickets were only $10.00,
I wasn't expecting too much. After all it was a Children's Festival.
Well, the moment the music started and the first patron boarded the
bus and chatted the ear off the "bus driver", I cracked up laughing. I
have to say, it was the best, creative, ingenious performance I've
ever seen. I absolutely loved it! I have been telling friends and
colleagues about it ever since .... My husband rolls his eyes at my
raving on about your show, but he doesn't realize what fun he missed
.... I just had to let someone know how uplifting and hilarious The
Number 14 was for us ....
