Melody Anderson - Mask Design
Melody Anderson studied at Camosun College and Emily Carr College of Art and Design, both in British Columbia. She has received Jessie Richardson Awards for Vancouver theatre for her mask and design work on THE EMPEROR'S NEW THREADS and THE NUMBER 14 for Axis Theatre, Cultural Metaphors for Pangaea Arts, and The Beauty Machine and Peacemaker for Green Thumb Theatre. Other favourite mask credits include Pericles for Bard on the Beach, The Visit for the Arts Club Theatre and Ziggurat! for Leaky Heaven Circus. Her masks have appeared in many Caravan Farm Theatre productions and are used as teaching tools throughout North America.

Nancy Bryant - Costume Designer
Nancy has received numerous Jessie Richardson Awards for her costume designs. Her work for theatre, ballet and modern dance companies has been seen across Canada, the USA and Europe. Recent theatre credits include costume designs for SHE LOVES ME, SWEENEY TODD, HAMLET, and THE OVERCOAT for the Arts Club Theatre, and cross Canada tour. Other credits include costume design for The Dance Theatre of Harlem, Les Ballets des Monte-Carlo, The Stuttgart Ballet and The National Ballet of Canada.

Pam Johnson - Set Designer
Pam has designed 130 shows over the past 20 years and her work has been seen on almost every continent. Pam's passion for design has been recognized by several Jessie Awards for, A LIE OF THE MIND, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, THE MISER, MACBETH, and OLEANNA. Her love of theatre is passed on to students through her teaching career at Studio 58. Pam's other design credits for the Citadel Theatre includes THE HEIDI CHRONICLES, MRS. WARREN'S PROFESSION and TARTUFFE. Pam wishes the #14 gang a safe and humorous journey.

Gerald King - Original Lighting Designer
Gerald King is a freelance lighting designer who has worked extensively for many companies in Canada and has seen his work tour to the USA, Europe and Asia. He works as frequently in Theatre as he does in Modern Dance, Ballet and Opera including the Vancouver Playhouse, Ballet British Columbia,The National Ballet of Canada,The National Arts Centre and Pacific Opera Victoria. Gerald has won eight Jessie Richardson Awards for Lighting Designs and is a member of the Associated Designers of Canada.

Douglas Macaulay - Composer and Sound Designer
Douglas works as a composer, arranger, sound designer, musical director and educator. He has composed in a wide variety of genres, including film and theatrical scores. His success in live theatre includes the acclaimed WHALE RIDING WEATHER, for which he received a Jessie Richardson Award. Douglas has worked as Musical Director for the Pacific Music Industry Association and for CBC Television and Radio. Currently he is a producer and A&R representative for Pilot Records, Artistic Director for the Whistler Mountain Music Festival and General Manager of Northwest Musical Services. Doug is completing work with collaborator Ian Cook on a new musical, THE WEDDING BUG.

Roy Surette - Original Director
Roy is currently the Artistic Director of Montreal's Centaur Theatre. He was recently the AD for The Belfry Theatre in Victoria and prior to that, AD at Vancouver's Touchstone Theatre. National credits include OVERRULED for the Shaw Festival and the Canadian tour of SHIRLEY VALENTINE. In addition to THE NUMBER 14, Roy has directed several other award-winning productions including LION IN THE STREETS, WHALE RIDING WEATHER and HOMEWORK & CURTAINS. Recently, his directing projects have included PICASSO AT THE LAPIN AGILE, INGENIOUS SPECULATIONS and TWO all for the Belfry. Roy is a proud graduate of Studio 58 in Vancouver.
