A young Englishman is blown off-course and is ship wrecked on a remote island near Trinidad.
Setting his course for survival, Robinson Crusoe adapts remnants of his shipwreck into a tropical home, L-R Yurij Kis, Chris Casillanmaking his own clothes and domesticating the local animals. Crops spring up as if by magic and Crusoe thrives alone… until one day he encounters a new arrival on the island and his life changes forever.
Daniel Defoe's enduring and entertaining story exploring issues of hope, survival and the need for human companionship, has been adapted for the stage by Colin Heath and Michael Wolski. Their award winning set design easily transforms from a shipwreck, to a tropical island, to a mountain lookout.
Creatively staged by Wayne Specht, the two actors energetically and humourously bring this classic to life.
