Axis Theatre is grateful to live, work and play on the unceded traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples – sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), selí̓lw̓ itulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəyə̓ m (Musqueam) nations.

Axis Theatre is actively seeking to dismantle inequity in the theatre sector, and to further access, inclusion, and equity in our work. We strongly encourage applications from IBPOC, LGBTQ2S+, and other communities facing systemic marginalization and welcome members of those communities to selfidentify as they feel comfortable. We welcome applicants to inform us of their pronouns if they so desire.

Axis Theatre is accepting submissions from Vancouver/Lower Mainland based performers, puppeteers, singers, and actors for our 2024-25 Season. Our 2024-25 productions will tour schools, community theatres, and professional theatres. We are seeking artists who are interested in touring productions, theatre for young audiences, and traveling for work. All performers who work with Axis Theatre are required to get a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check. We are not accepting self-tape submissions at this time.
