TEAM ON TOUR

Kassandra Sison Marie

Kassandra is a Métis/Ukrainian actor from Winnipeg, Manitoba — Treaty 1 Territory and the homeland of the Red River Métis — currently based on the traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. She is deeply honoured to join the team bringing this beautiful script to life.

Previous credits include Axis Theatre’s Thowxiya: The Hungry Feast Dish at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa (2026), Damion LeClair’s ROUGAROU, Pivot Theatre’s Moonglow (2024 Theatre BC Mainstage Award for Best Supporting Actress), Doin’ Time at the Alamo and Aboveboard (North Van Community Players), and Five Alarm (Deep Cove Stage Society).

Dustyn Forbes Jean

Dustyn is thrilled to be touring the Axis Theatre this season! Dustyn has trained and performed across Canada, recent credits include Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Chemainus Theatre Sumer 2026), On Native Land (Urban Ink/Raven Theatre Company, Spring 2026), and last season’s Elf the Musical and Footloose (Chemainus Theatre 2025). Dustyn studied Musical Theatre Performance at the Canadian College of Performing Arts (Victoria, BC), and prior obtained a BFA, honours in Performance, from St. Thomas University (Fredericton, NB).

Glitter Esquivias Buffalo

Glitter is a Secwépemc First Nation multidisciplinary artist local to Vancouver and the Okanagan. She is an alumni of Capilano University’s Acting for Stage and Screen program and has several years of experience training in theatre, film/TV, hosting, and voiceover. Glitter also currently holds a Basic level Fight Directors Canada stage combat certification. Select credits: Macbeth (Bard on the Beach, as Apprentice Director), Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy, Really (CapU Theatre), Song of the Swan (Runaway Moon Theatre) and a lead in an Indigenous short film, A Cautionary Tale. Glitter is one of two Artistic Directors at Perestroika Theatre, an emerging company. In her free time, Glitter can be found nose-deep in one of her twenty other hobbies, usually drawing or journaling.

Alexis Wilson Stage Manager

Alexis is a Vancouver-based theatre artist with a background in acting, stage management, and arts education. She is passionate about storytelling, community engagement, and helping young people discover their creative voice and confidence through theatre. Alexis has worked in a variety of collaborative creative environments, from professional theatre productions to youth-focused programming, and is particularly interested in how theatre can foster connection, curiosity, and personal growth. She supports arts learning initiatives and creates meaningful experiences for all participants while continuing to explore theatre as a tool for education, empathy, and community building.
