Happy Holidays from Axis Theatre!

‘Tis the season and Axis Theatre is celebrating! Whirlwind tours, new and seasoned productions - all entwined in an epic year of theatre for our young people and those that love them!

‘Twas two months before Xmas, and all through the Province (& Alberta), the spirit animals from the Kwantlen First Nations tale of Th’owxiya: The Hungry Feast Dish shared their story of friendship and teamwork with thousands of kids! The endearing reactions of a generation eager to enjoy theatre again had us flipping our lids!

Now we’ve hung up those socks and are onto the next, with a bold collection of Axis’ best. The Troll Grandfather is back and is nearly sold out. A four province tour - that’s what we’re talking about! Frog Belly Rat Bone is sure to be great. A trash monster, adorable puppets and a Boy - okay, it doesn’t rhyme but the ‘oom kickin’ boom chicka’ rhythms will be worth the wait. And there’s so much more in store as we build our season for 2023-24.
